Ain’t No Random Success In the summer of 2015, I drove my car from Los Angeles, California to Charlotte, North Carolina. I knew when I started the 2,465-mile cross-country jaunt that at some point along the way I would have to stop for gas. I didn’t know where the gas stations were. But I trusted there would be some. I knew I would have to stop for food and had confidence there would be restaurants along the way as well.
